Brief History

Some time ago, a family got lost in the snowy mountains of southwestern Oregon while driving back home to California. Mom and 2 kids survived the ordeal for 9 days and were finally found. However, dad went out to get help and did not make it.

There are several cases like this and probably lot more that did not last this long but caused a lot of anguish for those involved and their family and friends

In another situation, a wife and husband got stranded in a van in northern Nevada. While the husband went out to look for help, the wife survived on snow and trail mix for 7 weeks until she was rescued.

We built iCorniche devices to put safety in your vehicles and peace in your mind so never to worry about being remote or lost. Corniche means “Road on the ledge”. It is a road cut into the edge of a cliff, especially one running along a coast. To build such road is difficult at the same time it is scary to drive on.

We want to demonstrate that iCorniche device will keep you safe even when you end up in a dangerous situation.

What is iCorniche?

iCorniche is an IoT device that uses Satellite communication to reach out for help. All you have to do is to press a panic button that can alert not only emergency personnel and vehicles but also other iCorniche devices that are in the vicinity. It has built in GPS capability that can provide a very accurate location of where you are so you are found very easily.
